i am an island, am i
I am an Island, am I is a synthesis of images addressing the process of weaving through the subconcious/conscious conversations of the mind as it sorts and interprets environmental noise, experiences and interpersonal relationships. The disorder in Island is created by numerous layers of images that have been cut away to reveal pieces of the other, signifying the constant cycle of construction and destruction as the mind struggles to build logic and form out of disparate strains of information.
Shown in conjunction with The National Portrait Gallery Exhibition at Latitude 53 Gallery.
